The weekend is here and in full swing and, after last week’s response, we decided to do another HHV Weekend Jam. There is a lot of good music out there and a lot of songs not too old that are good, just forgotten. Some of these songs are good to listen to on the weekend on a roadtrip or something.
Jamie Foxx made a strong comeback in 2008, when he released his second album, Intuition, to positive reviews. He had good responses to the first single, but the game changed with the second single, “Blame It,” known best as “Blame It On The Alcohol.” The music video was even crazier.
In the music video, Jamie Foxx had a crew with him that consisted of Jake Gyllenhaal, unexpected, Forest Whitaker, Samuel L. Jackson, and even RON HOWARD. Yes, Opie from “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Happy Days” was getting twerked on with Jamie Foxx. This made for a classic music video and the new weekend jam.
