A treasured rap single is finally getting the visual it deserves. Southern rap legend Juvenile celebrates his 49th birthday the best way he knows how, sharing music. Celebrating not only another year of life but one of his most classic singles. Juvenile releases a video for his 1998 song “400 Degreez”. After nearly twenty-five years, the chart topping song is being reintroduced to an entirely new generation.
The evolution of Southern rap has changed as new generations come. However, Juvenile’s unique presence is one that proves to stand the test of time. Although he emerged into music during the late 90’s, his music has become a staple within hip-hop culture. Known as one of the top artist of Cash Money Records, his third album 400 Degreez, was met with commercial and worldwide acclaim. The quadruple platinum album included singles “Ha”, “Back That Thang Up,” and “400 Degreez”. In addition to those singles another classic by Juvenile is the 2004 single “Slow Motion”.
