Memphis Grizzlies at Indiana Pacers (FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS) | March 15, 2022 [VIDEO]

Memphis Grizzlies rout Pacers without Ja Morant with 33 point win

The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the biggest surprises of this NBA season. There was never a question of how great Ja Morant was. Also, there was never a question of how well constructed the Grizzlies’ roster was. The general rule of thumb is that youth and inexperience always prevent young and talented teams from winning. Many viewed things like the 2015 Golden State Warriors as the exception and not the rule. Well, the Grizzlies are proving those people wrong.

Ja Morant has played like an MVP, this season, and he has played extremely well. A back injury kept him out of last night’s action against the Indiana Pacers. However, Ja Morant has been the action when he plays. At one point, the Grizzlies won eleven straight games, which is a franchise record. The play that the Grizzlies have exhibited this season actually exceed their 2013 season. That year, the Zach Randolph-led Grizzlies won 56 games, and went to the Western Conference Finals.

With the way the Memphis Grizzlies are playing this year, a trip to the Conference Finals isn’t out of the question. Ja Morant didn’t play last night, when they played the Indiana Pacers on the road. A game like this, with the star player out, is considered a “trap game.” Instead, the Memphis Grizzlies went into Indiana, where they blew the Pacers out. The Grizzlies would dominate the Pacers, scoring 135 points to the Pacers’ 102 points.
