A year ago, Hip Hop Vibe got things moving with DJ Kid Fresh joining the team and him jumping in and doing these interviews. Getting DJ Kid Fresh to join Hip Hop Vibe was a big move, just because of the relationships he has in Los Angeles. Many of the people who talked to Hip Hop Vibe in LA were his personal friends.
Young Sam is one of the most-energetic rappers in the game and he shared his success in 2013 with Hip Hop Vibe. His mixtape, The Perfect Storm, was hosted by DJ Louie Styles and DJ Kid Fresh was a good friend of his. With 2013 coming to a close, Young Sam had a new album, Wake & Bake, in the works.
DJ Kid Fresh ended up meeting Young Sam at the Watts Towers in Los Angeles. There, they spoke on their history, because they did “106 & Park,” back in 2012, together. He then went on to speak on his goals for the Wake & Bake project, which ended up being a successful project for him, by the way.
