YRS Jerzy’s Wednesday Throwback: A$AP Rocky – “Goldie”

Six years ago, A$AP Rocky established himself as a star. The Harlem rapper had a lot of buzz, prior to, but when “Goldie” dropped, it was clear that he had something. While the world knows him best for his 2013 hit, “F*ckin’ Problems,” “Goldie” started the run.

A$AP Rocky took over the game at a time when New York City was out of the hip hop forefront. But, the efforts of A$AP Rocky and, even more so, French Montana, put the city back in the spotlight. Since then, both have established a big role, in the game.

This week, the Wednesday Throwback goes to 2012, where A$AP Rocky was still establishing himself as a star. “Goldie” is the one that started all of this. Currently, A$AP Rocky is preparing a new album, for the people.
