Last night, BET gave Brandy the spotlight for “The BET Life Of…” series. Since 2011, Brandy has been a key fixture on the BET network, as they have helped bring her back to the spotlight. To be clear, Brandy never really went anywhere, but her peak was the 1990s.
Now, Brandy is enjoying new career heights, as she joined “The Game” in 2012 and her recurring role became a starring role. BET didn’t miss a beat, casting her as Zoe in “Zoe Ever After” as soon as “The Game” ended. Plus, Brandy is doing well with her music, once again.
Only hours removed from Brandy’s BET special, Twitter is still talking about it. Because of this and the fact that she’s still making moves, this week’s Wednesday Throwback is dedicated to her. The single is “Have You Ever?,” which Brandy released in 1998 to strong reviews.
