Zion Williamson dunks on Jaren Jackson Jr in Pelicans vs Grizzlies
Zion Williamson is one young NBA player who is loaded with potential. However, injuries have prevented him from reaching this potential. As a result, the New Orleans Pelicans are a fringe play-in team, most seasons, when they should be contenders. So, people have looked at Ja Morant as the true prize of the 2019 NBA Draft. However, he’s suspended from the Grizzlies. In his place, Zion is putting the guy, Jaren Jackson, Jr. on a poster with his dunk.
Zion Williamson can easily be an MVP caliber player. Last season, before his season-ending injuries, he had the Pelicans with the NBA’s best record. The Pelicans have a unique franchise history. During this time, only once have they held one of the NBA’s best records. In 2008, when Chris Paul played for the franchise, the then-Hornets posted a franchise record 56 wins. Also, they ended up taking the defending champion Spurs to a Game 7.
Zion Williamson made sure his New Orleans Pelicans came out of Memphis with a win, tonight. He set the tone, during the third quarter. The whole night, the Grizzlies played a close game, despite Ja Morant not being in the game. With Memphis not having their best player, the Pelicans capitalized. See, they had their best player. As always, Zion comes in doing work and Jaren Jackson, Jr. got in the way. As a result, he got put on a poster with the dunk Zion put on him.
