The latest rapper to generate buzz through dissing is Atlanta’s Alley Boy. Fresh off the release of his Nigganati mixtape, Alley Boy made waves when his “I Want In” single was released.
Many perceived “I Want In” as a diss aimed at Atlanta veterans, T.I. and Young Jeezy. After denying going after T.I. and Young Jeezy, Alley Boy called Young Jeezy out on the radio. In an interview with Hip-Hop Wired, Alley Boy called Young Jeezy out for turning his back on B.M.F. leader, Big Meech.
Even before he began taking shots at Young Jeezy, Alley Boy was building a nationwide following. However, after “I Want In” and his high-profile interview with Hip-Hop Wired, Alley Boy began making headlines. Regardless of how his buzz was generated, Alley Boy is one of the hot topics in hip hop. Along with his buzz, Alley Boy’s style has also gotten him attention. Alley Boy is already hot on the streets of Atlanta and has a nationwide audience, he is only steps away from earning a place in the game. The question remains if he will make the steps.
