Hotties of hip hop: Kim Kardashian

Each week, Hip Hop Vibe either displays or updates readers about rising women who are having an impact on hip hop. But, over the past six years, few women have had the type of impact Kim Kardashian has had on hip hop. With the exception of late in 2010, Kim Kardashian has never touched a microphone, yet she remains the primary topic of numerous artists.

It was six years ago when Kim Kardashian, the daughter of Robert Kardashian (better known as one of the defense attorneys of O. J. Simpson), burst onto the scene. Immediately, the hip hop world embraced her, as her “assets” were on display in her sextape with Ray J. Kim Kardashian’s celebrity was made and Ray J went on to enjoy VH1 stardom.

While Ray J had a number of women compete for his affection on national television, Kim Kardashian moved on with Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints. Following Bush, Kardashian married Brooklyn Nets’ player, Kris Humphries. The two divorced soon after marriage and since then, Kim Kardashian has been dating Kanye West, indeed making him a happy man.
