It is a new day in New York City, in terms of hip hop. Of course, the game still stops when heavyweights like Jay-Z and Nas drop albums. But, New York hip hop is not dependent upon these rappers music, anymore. In addition to the Juelz Santana comeback, there is much attention going to newer artists.

Behind French Montana and A$AP Rocky, Brooklyn emcees, Joey Bada$$ and DyMe-A-DuZin receive much attention. Last month, DyMe-A-Duzin released his new mixtape, A Portrait of Donnovan. The mixtape has done very well and it has shown the world there is much more to this new era of Brooklyn than Pro Era.

DyMe-A-DuZin included Pro Era on his new mixtape and is currently signed to Warner Bros. Records. Hip Hop Vibe had the chance to talk to DyMe-A-DuZin about his deal with Warner Bros., New York hip hop, his relationship with Capital STEEZ, and many more topics. K. B.
