Lil Chuckee has played a background role with Young Money for half of a decade. When the label added Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga to the roster, Lil Chuckee was pushed further back on the roster. Even Cory Gunz has received more attention than Lil Chuckee, who has been independently pushing his music for some time.
Several projects are in the works for Lil Chuckee, including a clothing line and a tour. With these projects going for Lil Chuckee, he has decided it is time to leave Young Money. Unlike the other major label departure, Lil Chuckee leaves his label on good terms, according to reports.
