A lot of time has passed and Fabolous still feels he is ready to step up and be the leader of the New York hip hop scene. Fabolous is the only emcee young enough to still have current appeal and the clout to be a veteran. “Ready” with Chris Brown has become another major hit for Fabolous.
Fabolous put on an entertaining set at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2013 over the weekend and he even brought Lil’ Kim out. Everything appeared to have gone according to plan, but there was one thing missing. Hot 97 had it all at Summer Jam, even making peace with Nicki Minaj, but Fabolous had something bigger in store.
While Fabolous had Lil’ Kim out performing her music from Hard Core, she was only one half of his plan. Also, Fabolous intended to have Foxy Brown come out and perform and end her longtime beef with Lil’ Kim. However, Foxy Brown’s scheduling did not allow her to make it out and make history.
