Hip hop has been looking for that guy to carry the baton and release an album every year. So far, Wiz Khalifa appears to be this guy, with his Blacc Hollywood album set to be released later this year. When Wiz Khalifa is not releasing albums, he is working on his record label, Taylor Gang.
Wiz Khalifa signed a deal with Atlantic Records in 2010 and he has used his platform to sign many big named mixtape rappers. Working with Atlantic Records, Wiz Khalifa is adding more artists to the label. Currently, Wiz Khalifa is a part of a hit single, “Irie,” which is Ty Dolla $ign’s song.
“Irie” has two in-studio videos out and Ty Dolla $ign released the full DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, Beach House 2. Today, Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa sat down with Karen Civil and they revealed a major announcement. Together, the duo announced Ty Dolla $ign is the newest Taylor Gang artist.
