Anybody with the mind of a hustler can relate to Jay-Z and respect all that he has accomplished. One thing is true about Jay-Z and his dynasty, he won because he never quit regardless of what he was up against. The same labels who turned him down for his first record deals ended up courting him to run their labels.

In hip hop, a lot of people have tried to pit Jay-Z against several other rappers and some other executives. Hip hop is a competition, so it is always some sort of contest created by the actual figures, media operators, or fans in general. When it comes to Jay-Z, he is almost always at the top of those lists.

Jay-Z hired Elliott Wilson to do “The Truth” segment on his own Life + Times website and he has done an interview with them. In this second installment, Jay-Z talks about the competitive nature that is hip hop and the correlation between hip hop and sports. He also discussed Trayvon Martin.
