Last night, some downright scary news came out about Lamar Odom, he is addicted to drugs and he is missing. Four years ago, he married reality television star, Khloe Kardashian, and it looked like he found love. But, according to the rumor mill, his relationship with Khloe is all but over because of the drugs.
Lamar Odom lasted with Khloe longer than a lot of people gave him credit for, but an ending relationship is not good for anyone. If Lamar Odom is missing, it is no laughing matter, but he’s not the first rich person to take some time off. Truth be told, the people reporting have no idea what’s going on.
More than likely, Lamar Odom will resurface in the near future. But, in the meantime, Hip Hop Vibe has compiled a few locations where Lamar Odom may be chilling out at and some people who he might be chilling with. Understand, Lamar Odom is a wealthy man who came from the bottom, so he could be chilling out anywhere.

Queensbridge, New York: Lamar Odom’s hometown
Through his reality show appearances and the countless sport documentaries, Lamar Odom has made it clear he is a New York City man and Queens is his borough. Lamar Odom is from the Queensbridge neighborhood and this is where he first developed his passion for basketball. Since a lot of his stress is from his free agency, all rumors aside, maybe Lamar Odom has taken time to return to where he fell in love with basketball to fall in love with it all over again.
Paris, France: Kanye West’s favorite hangout
Relocating to Paris did wonders in Kanye West’s life, as he recorded Watch the Throne with Jay-Z, the G.O.O.D. Music album, Cruel Summer, and Yeezus in the French city. Kanye West ended up becoming a part of the same Kardashian-Jenner family Lamar Odom is a part of while he was living in Paris. Ever since Kanye West relocated to Paris (he has since returned to Los Angeles), Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have also spent time in the city. Maybe Kanye West let Lamar Odom crash in his spot in Paris.
London: Scott Disick’s playground
Niggas love Paris, but London is where the Lords roam. E! has played up the bond Lamar Odom shares with his almost brother in law, Scott Disick. Famously, Scott gained his lordship a few years ago and he makes regular appearances in London. Is it possible that Scott arranged for Lamar to take some time off and receive the royal treatment in the UK for a while?
Montana: The Home of Phil Jackson
When Phil Jackson separated himself from the basketball world, he relocated to Montana. During the time he returned to coach the Los Angeles Lakers the first time, Shaquille O’Neal went to visit him. Was it a coincidence that Shaq began playing at a championship level and won three straight titles? Could it be that Lamar Odom went up to Montana to coax Phil Jackson out of retirement and for them both to return to the Lakers and win some more titles?
Kobe Bryant’s house: Lamar Odom’s teammate from 2004 – 2011
The closest thing the NBA has to Michael Jordan is Kobe Bryant. On the outside, this house looks like a regular mansion, on the inside is a basketball laboratory. Kobe Bryant goes hard and he has openly spoken on missing his teammate of seven years. There could be a chance that Lamar Odom has gone to see Kobe and they are practicing for the next season and that Kobe is vouching for a Lamar return.

After his original stint with the Clippers came to an end, Lamar Odom signed with the Miami Heat. He played with a rookie Dwyane Wade and they turned the Heat back into a playoff team. There was a lot of chemistry on that team, but it was sacrificed for Shaquille O’Neal and the 2006 title. Lamar Odom lost the battle, but won the war with two titles. But, since 2011, he’s been bounced around the NBA, which has led to his misfortune and rumors of him doing drugs. Without a team, a lot of people feel a sober Lamar Odom would be a good fit in Miami with the Heat. What’s the best way to take a load off?
