Had things gone according to the plan, Ja Rule would have returned in 2007 with the biggest album of the year. Ja Rule would have taken that success and used it to launch his Mpire Records, including such artists as Young Life. Unfortunately, things did not turn out too well for Ja Rule and he ended up going to prison.
Now a free man, Ja Rule is doing well for himself with his upcoming movie role. This evening, Hip Hop Vibe spoke to the director of the film about Ja Rule. During the week, Hip Hop Vibe had the chance to meet with Young Life here in Queens.
Young Life spoke to Hip Hop Vibe about the upcoming plans he and Ja Rule have, plus his lack of releases while Rule was away. During the interview, Young Life reflected on the Guap Boyz group with DJ Absolut and his time as a youngster in the studio with Jay-Z and DMX. In the interview, he also spoke on his own future plans and what to expect.
