Noticeably absent from the king of New York debate was also French Montana. In an interview from earlier this year, Fabolous spoke on how French Montana was leading the New York hip hop scene along with A$AP Rocky. Fabolous stepped up pretty big on Twitter during the debate with no disses yet emitted.
French Montana, situation-wise, is comparable to Kendrick Lamar in terms of the way they came up. Earlier this year, French Montana dropped his long-awaited debut album, Excuse My French. After many delays, French Montana dropped the album and he’s been touring ever since.
Tomorrow, French Montana will be in Montreal and this sets up the official launch of his Canadian tour. Headed to Canada, French Montana is doing an eight-date tour out in Canada. French Montana will be touring in Canada throughout the month of September.
