Grand Theft Auto IV‘s main protagonist was Niko Bellic, a Russian immigrant who comes to the United States in hopes of a better life. Instead, he is dumped into life with his cousin, Roman, a struggling taxi cab driver. Niko, like so many before him, gets caught up in a life of crime.
Last night covered Luis Lopez’ adventures in Liberty City and tonight is all about the adventures Niko Bellic got caught up in. When Grand Theft Auto IV was introduced, it was Niko Bellic who reintroduced Liberty City and he is nothing like Claude Speed. This game was also the first Grand Theft Auto game based in modern times.
Niko Bellic was the first character in Grand Theft Auto with an alternate ending the fans chose. These decisions came with consequences, such as killing his ally and getting his penthouse, or sparing him and getting money. He also was faced with choosing his cousin or his girlfriend, Kate, with her hating him if she survives.
