2 Chainz talks being disappointed in “B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time” record sales with Power 99 [VIDEO]

Everybody wants to come into the game strong, but it’s usually hard to top that original offering. When it comes to 2 Chainz, it’s difficult to classify Based on a T.R.U. Story as his debut album because his mixtapes were just like albums. But, everybody can agree that his album last summer was filled with bangers.

2 Chainz decided to keep pushing after his debut album simply because he’s hot, so he prepared B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time for release in 2013. At the end of the summer, 2 Chainz returned with his album. Reactions from fans and critics both said the same thing, it wasn’t the same and the record sales also said this.

Power 99 recently hosted 2 Chainz and he acknowledged this during the interview. For someone who came out as strong as 2 Chainz, it has to be pretty tough to see the reaction not be nearly as strong the second time out. 2 Chainz talked about how disappointed he was in the sales.
