Here in North Carolina, there is a lot to be excited about when it comes to this hip hop music. The only thing people give credit to are those they have seen, but there’s no need to argue that point. All a person who knows more can do is their best to educate the people and this takes Hip Hop Vibe to Reidsville, North Carolina.
With a population of just under 15,000 people, Reidsville is home to one of hip hop’s new budding stars in Young Dirt. Don’t let the name allow confusion, Young Dirt has that heat. “Hello” is his single and it’s doing well right now and the internet loved his Welcome to Reidsville mixtape, which featured Ca$h Out and Rick Ross.
Marking the release of Welcome to Reidsville, which dropped during the summer, Young Dirt sat down with Hip Hop Vibe for the Welcome to Reidsville documentary. In this first clip, Young Dirt speaks on the North Carolina hip hop scene, his name, the city of Reidsville, and more. The full documentary is coming soon.
