Plies talks new music, strippers, jail, “Bust it Babies” and more with Hot 97 [VIDEO]

Plies Hot 97Even though Rick Ross debuted first and scored his hit a year prior, Plies became the biggest rapper in the game during the summer of 2008. During the summer of 2007, the Miami rapper debuted The Real Testament, which featured the “Shawty” single featuring T-Pain. A major hit, it was one of many from Plies.

A few months later, Plies released his “Bust it Baby, Pt. II” single with Ne-Yo, which was off Definition of Real was released. From there, Plies became one of the biggest artists of the game. Plies was so hot in 2008, he ended up releasing another album before the year ended.

Plies is making his return to the game following three years of releasing a few mixtapes. In his return, Plies paid a visit to Hot 97, where he talked with Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg. They got into a bit of a heated discussion, but Plies spoke on his new music, strippers, jail, and his “bust it babies.”
