It’s hard to believe it was just last year when most people heard of Chief Keef for the first time. His “I Don’t Like” single went viral, Kanye West remixed the record and added Pusha T, Big Sean, and Jadakiss to it. With them behind him, Chief Keef soon gained radio rotation.
By the summer of 2012, Chief Keef signed with Interscope Records and was working on his debut album. His album, Finally Rich, came out and was a commercial failure, but the cult audience loved the music. Since then, Chief Keef has been reportedly dropped from Interscope and is representing 1017 Brick Squad.
Chief Keef’s continued acceptance of the street life is what has almost everyone concerned about him. But, Chief Keef always laughs it off, posting various Instagram memes. The latest Instagram photo shows Chief Keef dissing Drake’s style of music and bragging about his own brand of gangsta rapper.
