Last night was likely what Jay-Z envisioned when he made plans to bring the Nets home to Brooklyn. Although Jay-Z sold his stake in the Nets to assist on the business end with Kevin Durant and many others, his heart is still with the team. As of the 2013-2014 season, there is new management in New York basketball.
Brooklyn has always had an iconic place in hip hop and Jay-Z is at the center of it and many feel Fabolous has the potential to take that position. Last night, none of that stuff mattered, as the Brooklyn Nets were fighting for their lives. Hoping to claim their destiny of NBA greatness, they forced a game seven in Toronto.
The Brooklyn Nets have given the Toronto Raptors all they can handle in the first five games. Before they started game six, the Brooklyn Nets had Fabolous do the intro for the team at the start of it. This must have been a great start, as the Nets went on to get another win.
