Earlier this morning, there was some tragic news out of Los Angeles. Popular rap group, Cali Swag District, endured another death within the group. Hip Hop Vibe’s own staff member, DJ Kid Fresh, is close with Cali Swag District and he interviewed them last year.
Back in 2011, Cali Swag District suffered an unexpected loss. One year after they released “Teach Me How To Dougie,” they were all highly upset. Their group member, M-Bone, died after there was a shooting that left him with fatal injuries and a group that would never be whole again.
Now, there is another loss, which Yung from Cali Swag District shared this morning in the form of Jayare. Speaking highly of the future with DJ Kid Fresh, only a few months ago, Jayare is no longer here. He died of complications from sickle cell anemia.
