Early this year, Ty Dolla $ign became a huge breakout artist. Make no mistake, he has been doing his thing for a long time, but things synched for him to have the success he did during the first quarter of 2014. Now, the whole world knows how talented Ty Dolla $ign is and they anticipate his arrival.

Ten years ago, it was Remy Ma who was having this breakout success. She forced Fat Joe to put her on “Lean Back” and it proved to be a wise decision, as the song was the biggest hit of summer 2004. Hard times ended up hitting Remy Ma, however, and she ended up doing time in prison, being freed earlier this year.

But, two generations of the same genre met today and it was a good moment for the overall hip hop community. Ty Dolla $ign ran into Remy Ma and he immediately got a picture with the New York rhyme slayer. The photo wasted no time finding its way to Instagram, as it was a proud moment for Ty Dolla $ign.
