Ebro confirms Jay-Z’s purchase of Hot 97 [PHOTO]

Over the weekend, rumors began that Jay-Z was a part of an ownership group purchasing Hot 97. Also included in this group is Carmelo Anthony, the forward for the New York Knicks. Because of the ongoing situation with Jay-Z and Funkmaster Flex, the rumors seemed far fetched.

Throughout his career, Jay-Z has gotten a kick out of defying the odds. He held an ownership stake in the Nets and helped relocate them to Brooklyn to play in the arena he was part owner of. But, Jay-Z sold his interest in the team to become a sports agent.

While Jay-Z is making new business deals, Ebro confirmed the mogul will be his new boss. All of the rumors were confirmed when Ebro took to Instagram to reveal a Jay-Z mix was coming a 2 this afternoon. His caption said something along the lines of him getting in good with the new boss, which was enough said.
