Wale met with negative early reviews for “The Album About Nothing” on Reddit

Earlier tonight, Wale’s long-awaited fourth studio album, The Album About Nothing, leaked. This album is the much-discussed collaborative effort with Jerry Seinfeld. Fun fact, Wale has been working on this album since before The Gifted came to be.

Wale has waited a long time to do this album with Jerry Seinfeld and he is excited to put the album out. When he was at SXSW in Austin, Wale was actively promoting the upcoming album. The early reviews aren’t as happy as Wale would like them to be, however.

The album has leaked in full and some lucky listeners have had the chance to hear The Album About Nothing, talking about it on Reddit. According to what they have to say, the album lives up to its title and clearly not in a good way. Regardless, this is Wale’s effort for the the year and he joins contemporaries, such as J. Cole, Drake, and Chris Brown with releases this year.
