No matter how big a person gets, they should always acknowledge their roots. In Drake’s case, he is from Toronto, but he became a star with support from Houston, among other cities. While he has love for Miami and New York City, Drake always gives back to Houston.
Houston Appreciation Week has become Drake’s platform to give back on many levels. In some ways, Fetty Wap is just like how Drake was when he was getting into the game. This is why Drake jumped on “My Way,” plus he was a big fan of the record.
Drake brought Fetty Wap down to Houston for Houston Appreciation Week and it was a memorable week. It was much fun to be there and Drake got the crowd hype when he performed the verse of “My Way” before Fetty Wap came out.
