Late last summer, Lil Wayne shocked the world when he dissed Birdman and Cash Money Records. Even more shocking was Lil Wayne making his intentions to leave the label with Young Money clear. All of this occurred due to Lil Wayne’s album being constantly delayed.

What once seemed impossible would soon happen, as Jay Z would add Lil Wayne to his list of partners at TIDAL. Together, they released a replacement Lil Wayne album. This album went onto break records, doing 10 million streams in a week.
