Kobe Bryant filed to trademark ‘Black Mamba’ nickname under his company, Kobe, Inc.

Kobe BryantSports fans know Kobe Bryant’s career comes with two eras. There is the first half of his career, 1996-2006, where he wore the jersey number ‘8.’ He capped this era off with the memorable 81 point game that became a signature moment in his career.

Kobe Bryant wore number ’24’ from 2006 until his career ended in 2016, just one month ago. This era is when Kobe Bryant earned the ‘Black Mamba’ moniker. It was fitting, as Bryant would win two championships in this era and establish himself atop of the NBA.

Ending his career with 60 points, Kobe Bryant is done with professional basketball and is now a CEO. His company, Kobe, Inc., has a lot of different things in the works. One move Kobe Bryant recently made was to trademark his ‘Black Mamba’ nickname, under the Kobe, Inc. name.
