HHV Exclusive: Shawn Fonteno talks GTA V, DJ Pooh, “The Wash,” and upcoming work

One company that has succeeded in pulsing the urban and hip hop community is Rockstar Games. Behind their Grand Theft Auto series, they have raised a couple of generations. Since San Andreas, they have really honed in on the hip hop market.

In 2013, Grand Theft Auto V was released and the game is still being played on a daily basis. Most have enjoyed living the life of Franklin, the main protagonist of the game. Behind Franklin is Shawn Fonteno, the voice of the character.

Sophia Nicole, of HHB Media, spoke to Shawn Fonteno, a few months back at Echoing Soundz’ Rolling Out magazine event, for Hip Hop Vibe. During the interview, Shawn Fonteno spoke on life changing since doing Grand Theft Auto V and his relationship with DJ Pooh making it all possible. He also discussed doing The Wash with him, and much more.
