When “we” say “Black Lives Matter,” “they” say “All Lives Matter.” No matter how hard we try, some people never get it. However, there is one argument “they” make that unfortunately does make sense, “if black lives matter so much, why is black on black crime so common.”
Kenneka Jenkins was a young woman of color and she is dead at 19 years old. Her crime was going to hang out with friends, who decided to set her up to be raped. They did all of this for $200, as if a minimum wage job won’t pay $300 a week.
People have flocked to social media, demanding justice for Kenneka Jenkins. This girl is dead for no reason and the girl who streamed it on Facebook Live deserves to spend the rest of her life in prison. All over social media, everyone wants justice for this young lady, it’s only right.
