Nobody on the court deserved this win more than Chris Paul. When he came into the NBA, he was the young phenom and his early years were great. He put the New Orleans Hornets on the map, at a time when their relocation was the biggest part of their history.

But, it turned out the 2008 Hornets’ loss to the Spurs wasn’t simple growing pains, it was as good as it’d get. Traded to the LA Clippers, he formed a nice duo with Blake Griffin, and had good seasons. In the end, they couldn’t get past the second round, either.

Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets and he and James Harden got there, of course Harden’s been here before. Despite being the top seed, playing the Warriors made them the underdog, and this game, Game 4, saw both teams trade big leads, with Steph Curry missing the game-tying shot. After this, Paul spoke with Kristen Ledlow about the Rockets’ comeback, potentially being down 3-1, and going back home tied.
