Literally, Russell Westbrook did everything he could for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since their inception, he’s been right there, from that rough first year, to the NBA Finals run. He also was one of a handful of point guards about to match up with Steph Curry.
Russell Westbrook lost Kevin Durant to the Warriors, beginning their longstanding beef. But, he was soon gifted Paul George and Carmelo Anthony. At the time, some felt that was enough to compete, but it wasn’t, and now Paul George is a Clipper, with Kawhi Leonard.
Speaking of Clippers, Russell Westbrook has now been traded to his rivals, the Houston Rockets, in exchange for Chris Paul. This puts OKC in full rebuild mode, as Russ and PG are out. Now, Russell Westbrook is reunited with James Harden, and fans are trying to figure out how this is going to work.
