Pop Smoke was one of the biggest breakout artists of 2019 as he stormed onto the scene with his hit single “Welcome to The Party.” He also released his debut mixtape, “Meet The Woo.” He started off 2020 strong by releasing the sequel which featured the buzzing “Christopher Walking” single.

In what looked like it’d be a huge 2020 for the Brooklyn rapper, his run has been tragically cut short at only 20-years-old. According to TMZ, he was shot and killed in a home invasion robbery in West Hollywood, CA early this morning around 4:30am. Two men broke into the home wearing masks and hoodies and fired multiple shots at Smoke. The two suspects then made a run for it.

Smoke was soon taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The shooters are still on the run and authorities have not yet identified them. One man has been arrested by police but they concluded that he had no involvement in the shooting.
