In the late 1990s and the early 2000s, Irv Gotti and Ja Rule were two of the biggest figures in hip hop. They rose to fame alongside Jay Z and DMX and they then took over the game. When the early 2000s came, Ja Rule took over the rap world.
Hard times happened and it saw Ja Rule and Irv Gotti fall from grace in the eyes of the fans. In the years since then, the two have remained figures in the industry, however. VH1 and MTV both have had interest in Ja Rule and Irv Gotti, building reality shows around them.
Ja Rule is the latest rapper to have a reality show, “Follow The Rules,” which is similar to the shows Game and T.I. have on VH1. The difference, however, is Ja Rule is airing on MTV when his show premieres. Some may be wondering what’s up with the show, but Irv Gotti let them know it’s still going down, as he shared a photo of him and Ja Rule with their BMW and Rolls Royce and it’s a scene from the show.
