Anybody trying to make it on New York’s hip hop scene already knows about DJ Self and has for years. Holding it down on Power 105.1 and Shade 45, DJ Self is the prince of New York. He is doing it all and has a lot more to come.
DJ Self talked to Hip Hop Vibe about his position in the game and he also made a big move in the city. In the middle of the Power 105/Hot 97 beef, he took a photo with Funkmaster Flex. A year later, DJ Self has joined “Love & Hip Hop” with Cardi B, another well-known name.
Both DJ Self and Cardi B were up with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy for “The Breakfast Club.” They arrived to discuss their debut on “Love & Hip Hop,” which led to an entirely different conversation. The two also discussed stripping and all that comes along with it.
