“Empire” got off to a thrilling start, with Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) dying in the opening minutes. Now, Andre (Trai Byers) is spiraling out of control, while Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) reels from Lucious (Terrence Howard) marrying Anika (Grace Gealey). Meanwhile, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) is coming to terms with being unable to perform, as Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) is at war with Lucious, and forced to work with Shine (Xzibit), while fighting his attraction to Nessa (Sierra McClain).
