Jay Z officially launches venture capital fund, named Arrive, to fund startups, offer branding support, and more

What Jay Z has managed to do over the course of the past twenty-one years is nothing short of remarkable. Growing up poor, in Brooklyn, Jay Z got caught up in the street life. Even when he was hustling, Jay Z had goals of doing more with his life.
A gifted lyricist, Jay Z began rapping in the 1980s, appearing on Jaz-O’s single, “Hawaiian Sophie,” in 1988. Following this, Jay Z ran into difficulties, returning to the streets. Then, determined to make it, launched Roc-A-Fella Records.
Initially partnered with Priority Records, Def Jam soon came, eventually appointing him president. Later, Jay Z would leave Def Jam to start Roc Nation, then his streaming service TIDAL, and now his new venture capital find, Arrive. This fund is going to help startups, and offer branding support, along with much more.
