Making it as a successful music star is easier said than done, even when an artist has a hit. Plenty of artists have hit records that are more known than they are. However, Meek Mill has managed to be that guy, remaining around, despite all that was thrown at him.
Meek Mill was one of 2011’s most-promising breakout stars and he didn’t disappoint in 2012. With no album, in 2013, Meek Mill went back to his native, Philadelphia, and developed artists, there. But, a 2014 prison stint, and a 2015 Drake beef definitely hindered him.
Still, Meek Mill managed to make Nicki Minaj his woman, for a couple of years, and got into a beef with her ex, Safaree, over it. When he stopped by Streetz 94.5 in Atlanta, Meek Mill spoke on Wins and Losses, his newest album. He’d also be confronted about the Safaree fight, where Meek Mill said it would help his career, as Safaree is on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.”
