Already, there has been one reported death in Puerto Rico, due to Hurricane Maria. In the city of Guadeloupe, Hurricane Maria came in, hitting hard. It impacted the city as a Category 5 and it immediately tore the island apart.
Hurricane Maria comes just weeks after Hurricane Irma came through and devastated the islands. Just as the recovery has begun, the residents have had to prepare for another super storm. Preparation down in Guadeloupe was simply not enough.
The city of Guadeloupe was immediately devastated when Maria hit the city. Here, is a video of downtown, where the storm hit hard, immediately flooding the entire block. This is in addition to the death that was already reported.
