What hip hop needs is competition, and for someone to step up and claim king. The only person doing that is 6ix9ine, and his buzz is undeniable. But, when he told “The Breakfast Club” that he was NYC’s hottest rapper, Charlamagne reminded him of Cardi B.
The entire industry, right now, belongs to Cardi B, as she has made a huge impact on the game. But, 6ix9ine made a strong point, when he pointed out his street support. Facts are that 6ix9ine has had several singles get gold certifications.
6ix9ine flew to the Dominican Republic, following his interview on “The Breakfast Club.” He put a video out, on IG, while he was down there, and he pointed out how his interview has already done 2 million views, reminding people he told them that this would be their most-viewed video. While he says he isn’t one to brag, 6ix9ine said he had to check Charlamagne for trying to play him.
