There is something Raptors’ fans need to understand. This is a team that ALWAYS disappoints, so even with the number one seed, there was a question of if they’d blow it. Look, after two games, the Raptors don’t look like a team that’s going to choke.
DeMar DeRozan finally had a breakout game, when it mattered the most. Usually, the Raptors come up short, in key playoff games, and that’s when Kyle Lowry disappears. This year, DeRozan came through with 37 points in a key Game 2, where Washington could’ve upset.
Overall, the Raptors came out strong, tricking the Wizards into early mistakes, and building a huge lead. Late in the game, the Wizards made their comeback, but they had too much to overcome. Then, when it got close, DeRozan led the Raptors to the win, like strong teams do, so is this series going to be a sweep?
