Definitely, Drake has been doing his thing, for some time. Last year, he actually proved how strong he was, when he willingly took a year off, when many others got hot. With Drake out of the way, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled, Future, and French Montana had career years.
Of course, Cardi B emerged last summer, and she took the game over, and is still dominating. But, Drake came back, right in the middle of her run, and has reclaimed the top spot. His ability to leave on top, and come back on top has proven how strong Drake is.
Drake has now made plans for Scorpion, which is his first official studio album since 2016. The album track listing is already out, but Drake now has the features listed. There are two that stick out, “Talk Up,” which features Jay-Z, and “Don’t Matter To Me,” featuring Michael Jackson.
