In the upcoming eighth season of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, the VH1 hit series will showcase its first gay couple, according to The Blast. Their names are Prince Carter and Zachary Jones, who are both from the Atlanta area.

Filming has begun and Carter and Jones are ready to showcase their stardom. Carter is familiar with most of the LHHATL cast as he’s done interviews with Mimi Faust, Karlie Redd, Bambi, Erica Dixon, and Mama Dee. Jones has made a name for himself as a model and is an ambassador with Fashion Nova.

The couple is also determined to shut down the stereotypes and discrimination they face as a black gay couple. They want to use the opportunity on LHHATL to show that love has no boundaries.

“As an African American gay male couple it’s tough as hell in today’s society and there are sooooooooooo many stigmas we’re up against,” said both Carter and Jones to The Blast. “We are two big personalities who just happens to love each other dearly,” adding that, “With this platform we want to show that love has no face or color. But love is all about treating others with respect. Allowing people to just live their best lives.”

Love And Hip-Hop: Hollywood is still in progress so expect LHHATL to air shortly after the reunion for that series concludes. Carter and Jones are sure to bring much anticipation to this season.
