21 Savage was arrested by ICE officials on Sunday morning. Young Nudy was arrested with him as well on aggravated assault and gang charges. 21’s arrest was for supposedly being in the United States illegally without a visa. A birth certificate shows that he was born in London but moved to Atlanta, 13 years ago.
21 has since been in ICE custody. His co-manager Justin “Meezy” Williams spoke on the situation again via Twitter today. He said that 21’s been in 23-hour lockdown since getting into custody. He gets no communication or TV. Phone calls also last only 10 minutes.
21 Savage has made millions of dollars in his music career and this is how he’s being treated as some animal. One can only imagine how people at the southern border of America continue to be treated by our government.
