Kodak Black was arrested at Rolling Loud in Miami over the weekend. He was arrested on state and federal firearms charges. As a result, he didn’t take the stage to perform. He ran into this issue last month as he got caught with guns and drugs at the U.S border. At Rolling Loud, Miami police and agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and U.S. Marshals took him into custody.
Kodak could be put back in prison for a while again as according to The Blast, Kodak has been indicted by a grand jury on a two-count indictment for making false statements in trying to purchase illegal guns. The exact charges are making a false statement in the acquisition and attempted acquisition of a firearm.
At a gun store that Kodak was trying to get guns from, law enforcement said that the falsified statements came from the application to get these weapons. He lied about not facing other pending cases and being a felon who shouldn’t be in possession of guns.
Kodak has rose to stardom since 2016 but has battled numerous legal issues, including this situation here. He has the potential to be a superstar but not having the right guidance isn’t helping him right now when it comes to avoiding trouble outside of music.
