Bhad Bhabie Says NBA Youngboy Doesn’t Write All Of His Music But Defends Him By Saying That Having Writers Comes With Being At Major Record Labels [VIDEO]

A few nights ago, Bhad Bhabie went on a rant defending using writers. She said Beyonce’, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B all have writers so she should as well. This all went down on Instagram Live.

Bhabie took to IG Live again and someone in the comments brought up that’s NBA Youngboy doesn’t have writers. She immediately denied that by saying someone wrote his 2017 hit single “No Smoke” and she was there as it was recorded. Bhabie didn’t say this to take shots at him but to simply say that writers being involved is just what comes with signing with big record labels. Both artists are signed to Atlantic Records.

Having writers is definitely the norm in hip-hop now. Meek Mill criticized Drake for it in 2015 and City Girls got the same backlash from the public for label mate Lil Yachty writing their hot single “Act Up. Bhabie isn’t one of the best rappers out but she has a point that being signed to a major will automatically bring writers.
