Rihanna has her biggest day on Spotify after “Lift Me Up” release
On Friday, Rihanna released her first single since January 2016, with “Lift Me Up.” This record is also set to appear on the upcoming soundtrack for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” on November 11. That is also the same day of the release of that highly anticipated film.
Fans have since praised Rihanna and her vocals on Lift Me Up, as they’ve been waiting to hear her, for over six years. Now, this single has already achieved another new streaming milestone, for Rih. According to Chart Data, October 28 was her biggest streaming day of all-time on Spotify. Rihanna totaled close to 25 million streams.
In addition to Lift Me Up, Rihanna will also have a second song on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. Rih has definitely finally been giving her fans excitement lately, when it comes to music announcements. In September, she also revealed that she will be performing at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. This will be in February, in Phoenix, AZ, at State Farm Stadium.
In 2023, Rihanna is also rumored to finally venture on a new world tour. With the new music coming, as well as the Super Bowl performance, fans hope that a new studio album will finally be on the way, as well.
