Gucci Mane drops Baby Racks from 1017 Records after a day
Last month, Georgia rapper Baby Racks revealed that he signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, as well as Atlantic Records. Racks began to go viral, with the release of his “Look Ma I Did It” single, with Gucci.
However, Gucci Mane is making it known that he has no more ties to Baby Racks, at all. On his Twitter feed, he reveled on Wednesday, that Racks got signed and dropped from 1017, in a day.
“Congratulations to @Babyracks1017 first artist to get signed and dropped in a day 🤦🏿♂️ that dude is not signed to 1017.”
According to TMZ, Atlantic Records also stated that Racks isn’t signed to them either. This news comes after Racks said on Twitter, that he doesn’t want to be booked in Houston anymore, after the deadly Takeoff shooting. It’s unclear if this tweet played a role in him getting dropped from 1017, though.
Therefore, Baby Racks has since went on Twitter, and arrogantly thanked Gucci Mane for flying him out and giving him a featured. He also claimed that Atlantic Records paid him. As a result, Racks is also tagging names such as Jeezy, Rick Ross, and from Quality Control Music, in an attempt to get signed, as a free agent.
